Any older Guys remember the Group called "The "Society of Seven" back in the 70's ? They spent six months in Hawaii and then booked here on the Mainland for six months. It was a group of very talented musicians, some from Hawaii, Tahiti, and the Phillipines. They played a lot of Pop Contemporary and put on one helluva show. I remember seeing them at the Hawaiian Village (I believe it was called) in Anaheim, Ca. down the street from Disneyland. |

They're still going, and probably will be long after we're all gone. |

Ron:
I expected you to chime in on this post. Glad they are still going strong, probably a new generation of members in the Group.

Billy, I figuered this had to be a different SOS, but then I remembered your years over here. Yes, there may be an original member still, but they've been recruiting new talent to keep it's perpetulance and have had a young girl in for a few years now. Not my style, even tho they cover many styles, but they certainly wow the crowds. Always glad to hear your experiences, Billy. |
