Hey fellow forum members,

I recently aquired a nice older steel,I was wondering if somebody could tell me the year of it.The serial # is 2469, it is beauty of a guitar, and plays just perfect,in my eyes.It is supposed to have the MAX TONE mod done to it too!!......it will sustain for days.Hell I even think it's making me play better all ready hahahaha :)Here's some pic's of er,after a quick clean.I HAVE BEEN MULLEN-IZED Cool

Congratulations on your acquisition. Mullen guitars of that era are wonderful sounding, great playing instruments. I had #2496. I bought it from a fellow who told me it was a 1994 year model. I would surmise that yours is either from 1993 or 1994. Mike or Del at Mullen can tell you for sure.

Don't ever let it get away from you. If you do, you'll be sorry. Take it from a guy that knows. Embarassed

Many happy hours pickin' that fine instrument.

Jerry,I just finished a 2 hour set down...I pretty much play that thing, tell my fingers bleed. It's like a fine lady, once you get one,you never want to leave er alone. This thing is HOT HOT HOT,it's got a True tone runnin that thing.Just discovered, that if I run my amp hot,I can get that thing to really do some sweet harmonic's,with the Goodrich. It's wicked.

Mike thanks a lot for the info, already got my mind made up on a new G2 down the road. This is a fine instrument here:)

Thanks Chris,I really like the Black, and it is shiny isn't it.Far as the Max Tone mod,not sure.I was told by the previous owner,it was done to it.I was looking up the old threads, very interesting reviews.

Michael,

It's a Session 2000(made for steel)....I really like it.Beats having to use pedals and rack effects.Which I have used in the past,as a guitar player.Sounds great with the 100 factory presets.Very user friendly Very Happy
