The door is Always Open has one of the finest recordings of a Steel Guitar I have heard. Cowboy Eddie Long plays so sweet, but the sound he and the engineer T.W. Cargile got on that recording just sends shivers up my spine.

Does anyone know the gear used, and the Pro Tools effects that were used to achieve that wonderful sound?

I have to say all of Jamey's recent records are extremely well recorded and mixed, a real joy to listen to. Any steelers who don't have 'em are missing out big time.
