This is probably a crazy thing for me to do, but I don't know the answer to my question. You all deal with steel guitars and the equiptment that goes with them and have for years, so I figure I couldn't go to any better place to ask this question. I've got a Peavey Renown 115 amp, with the footswitch, that I just got out of the shop after having it checked over and repaired. I just put in a brand new Peavey 1501-04 Black Widow speaker with 12 guage spkr cord and the amp is in very good shape. I want to sell this amp but have no idea what would be a good price to ask for it. Could you all give me an idea on what these sell for in the condition I just mentioned? I'd appreciate any help I could get from experienced musicians on a price for this amp. Thank You, Bill Hall, Cassville, Mo.

I had that same amp in the 80's (ordered from the factory with 1-15" BW). Wish I still had it.
I think if you add the shop-service charge, plus the speaker and cord cost, plus ~$50 bucks or so, you'll be in the ballpark.
