I got my MSA way back in '77 in Moline, IL...5 + 4, and for the life of me, can't remember the original setup. I saw Jeff Newman after I bought it and right after that turned it over and tore it apart! Forget it wasn't a triple raise...I made it work. But I'm thinking (I'm gonna get it back) I want to go back to E9 extended, I miss that D, and Universal for all it's positives, just ain't it.
So now, what the heck was the original setup for the MSA 12 Classic? Anyone remember? Mostly pedals 4 & 5. I did change the left knees to lower 5th a half step and when I went Uni, the outside left took the 2nd string down to D and the 9th up to D.
