Due to the vacuum left by the absence of the Steelin For Hearts Show, I would like to get comments and some idea of who would be interested in attending a Steel Jam on Saturday Feb 5th and Sunday Feb 6th 2005. The Event would be held at the Vienna Moose, in Vienna Virginia just off I-66, 4 miles west of I-495. I have been in contact with several Motels close to the moose club to secure the best rates. In order to accommodate all who would like to play, I plan to keep the Heavy hitters to three. I have commitments from Buddy Charleton, Randy Beavers and Russ Hicks and of course my favorite singer, Laney Hicks. Anyone interested? I would appreciate your response. If you would like to play, send me a email. My decision to go forward will be based on the response to this post.

Chuck that sounds good to me also. Isn't that the same place that the Don West benifit was the other year? I think I can find that again.LOL

Sure, I'd buy a ticket to that show!
If'n it ain't snowing, I'll be there!
'Course, with all the "big dogs" showin' up, I wouldn't even bother bringing my stuff and playing.
(Besides, Curry already told me that if he had to listen to me play Release Me one more time, he would scream!)
It would be a good chance for all the local players to get together and "talk shop", too. Good idea, Chuck! |

I've just requested that weekend to be blocked out with the band. I'll be there and I'll bring some folks. Vienna is only an hour away. How can I help?
