| Hi Folks, I will have for sale, before long, A D8 Sho Bud, similar to the one Don Helms played in the early 1960's, some videos with Loretta Lynn with Don are floating around, as well as some others. I have been playing this "Bud" for a few years now. It is a double 8, with 5 pedals and 1 knee on the front neck. I have been using 2 pedals and 1 knee up front. The hardware and parts for the other 3 pedals are there for whatever. The rear neck is set up for straight steel with "no pedals". George L 8 string pickups, the "Bud" pickups never came with the guitar. Aluminum end plates, non roller headstock, pull release changer, has a "Restored by Sho Bud" sticker under the refinished underside. More info later! Wont be cheap. Jay Y. |
