I dont have anything to do with this sale but in my opinion, this guitar, for about the same price as a used carter starter is LEAGUES above the carter starter.

Caleb, I'm a newbie here (this is my first post). I've been visiting the forum for months now in hopes of beginning my long-time goal of playing the pedal steel. Been trying to figure out a good starter or step above a starter. This Wilcox is definitely on the list I've been compiling as I've been researching all the brands out there.
I'm very interested but am wondering if you have a case I could pay for as well. Also, what type of pickups does it have?
Thanks for your time. I'm glad to be a member here and I know I have a lot of learning to do!

Yes, it has a case. Pick ups I think are factory.I will get back to you on that. I would tell you but its with a friend he is doing a recording with it. I will get the info this evening. This is the guitar Allen Rudd had for sale. Somewhere around page 7 or 8. I'm trying to save up for a Mullins someday. |

Really nice looking guitar but since I have had no reply and others are ahead of me I have decided I do not wish to proceed and withdraw my offer to buy as the guitar is likely spoken for ahead of me as is sometimes the case. |

I did a little work on this guitar to get it back to the Emmons setup. I think it is one of the first guitars that Chet Wilcox built. This guitar is way, way better than any student models I have played...well worth this price. If I had the extra cash, I'd probably buy it myself. Pickup is a George L E66. |

I think the deal fell through on this guitar. I think that is why it is has been unlocked and is back on. |
