Not sure where to post this, but here goes:

I'm traveling to Ireland (Dublin, then out west) for the next 10 days or so, I was supposed to join some friends last week, but, due to a family emergency here in Chicago, was unable to do so, and flying all the way back home to San Francisco to get all of my stuff (including my instruments) isn't looking very promising.

I'm free to go now, flying out on Saturday, but don't have an instrument except the fiddle with me. Any chance anyone of you Forumfolk in Ireland could lend me an acoustic guitar and/or a 5-string banjo? Nothing too fancy, for sure. Know a generous soul who might be able? We'll be traveling by rental car, so transportation is not a problem, and I would be happy to return it/them post haste.

My friends and I are scheduled to perform at the Bruff Bluegrass Festival next weekend, hoping to find a 5-string before then.

Please let me know, thanks in advance for any ideas or thoughts.
Best,
Larry Chung
