I am new to the forum,I joined so I could reply to Leo's post.Carl West was my Brother in law,his son Larry my Nephew.Larry played drums for me at the Silver Dollar in vegas from 75 -79. I Love them and miss them both so much.I played bass for Eddy Drake at the Ace's club in 63-64 along with Carl,Jerry Lee,George French,Cecil Bays. Later with Earl Ball,Jay Dee Maness a gig Carl got for me.I recorded with Buck and his gang a lot at Capital before he opened his studio in Bakersfield.
I miss all my friends, Relatives and fellow pickers who have gone on. |
