I won this guitar as a door prize at the 50 anniversary of Halpin Music Co., being in business in Alton, IL. I was told by the owners that is worth about $2500.00. They had it made up special for their celebration. Please see specs, below.
1) ebony fret-finger board.
2) Special inlays with Halpin 50th inlayed on the 12th fret.
3) All hardware is gold color.
4) Front is 1/2 to ---- carved burly mactched clear finish maple.
5) Rest of guitar is mahogany with adj. truss neck
6) Volume, tone and toggle switch for pickups.
7) Special gold colored Superior-Sonic pickups made by Dean in the USA one of them has adj. screws under the strings for separate settings
Cool Entire guitar Hand made in the US
9) Case us hareshell exterior with black velet soft interior, gold colored hinges, 4
10) hAS GOLD colored digital lock, to be programed by owner
11) Dean name and wing insignia in gold color on lid of case
12) Large storage box inside.
Asking $2300.00 I have had the guitar new for about a month, only played in my home twice. It has never left my home, kept in the case all this time. I will try to attach pictures, I am not too good at that. Happy looking and keep on pickin&agrinin
