In case any of you are coming into St. Louis to the convention on Wednesday. I will be playing with the Billy Barnett Band at a place called BB's Jazz, Blues and Soups. It's within walking distance of the Millenium. It's located at 700 South Broadway, which is 1 block to the west of 4th street. It's just south of the stadium.
This however is not a country gig although we might do a couple. It's pretty well what it says. Jazz and Blues. It's from 9:30 to 1:30. Jerry Fessenden, Sharon Denney and Olli Haavisto will be there.
Billy is a legend in St. Louis. A completely amazing guitarist. The rhythm section is Phil Burton on bass and Demerius Hicks on drums. These guys are blown out too. I'll be doing my best to keep up with them. |

BBs is a little place and a very Iconic St Louis place, Ive worked there several times and If you enjoy CAJUN/SOUTHWEST FOOD they have it, But that place has had every Bluesman known and Unknown across the world on that stage....again its a small place, across the street is BEALE ON BROADWAY another Jazz/Blues joint known for late night jams and smoking Blues....both places are close to the Millenium, you could walk but I recommend a cab late at night, _________________ Don Lanier

thanks for the input Don. It's a fun place to play for sure. And you never know who will be there and join us on stage. Any of the legendary blues guys could end up being there.
Hey Eddie. We forgot about T/L guy. |
