Ernest, what kind of show is the Live oak thing? Of all the venues I've played that is my absolute favorite- the huge Live Oaks around that peaceful natural amphitheatre... It's such a great spot. wish I could be there!

Mark, this is the reagular Sun Country Jamboree held once a month on the 2nd Sat of each month, not a steel show but this one may be called that , Russ Hicks and Laney will headline this one along with Robert Anderson, and the Hammontrees, John LeMasters on steel.
They do most Western swing type Music with some Country.
Starts at 7:00 Till 10:00, sometimes it goes over time if we are having fun.
The first 2 hours are broadcast over 102. Power Country radio.
Price is $10.00 a head.
And Jim Hartly is comming down to play drums
with Russ, he is from S. Carolina.

Ernie, now you know good and well we do more country now that we don't have a fiddle! Oops, I should'nt have said that! Some folks won't come if there is no fiddle. Oh well, if you know of a good "swing" fiddler who will work for nothing, let me know, o.k? Also, Freddy Carr got to busy to be with us on a regular basis, so we don't have that four neck fender to produce that authentic "Leon McCauliff" sound! We hope to Have Freddy come do a guest spot soon! And we do more Country than Swing!! Lonnie
