I got to see these guys last weekend at Fayettville Amplitheater. Great show. These guys are celebrating their 45th year together and sound better than ever.
Lots of grey hair there including mine.
Not a bad song in the show, and John McEuen played a lot of lap steel; very tastefully. I recomend seeing them if you get a chance. At $30.00 a head a bargain these days.

I saw them last summer at the Minnesota State Fair. It was a great show, and only sat two rows off the front of the stage. Great pictures of John on Lap Steel. I gave him a thumbs up, but I don't know if he saw it or not. Although it did look like he looked at me at the time. I have always enjoyed the NGDB, but I missed having Jimmy Ibbotson with them, but he has moved on to solo work I guess.

I would second your suggestion to anyone to see them whenever they can. Great band, and to be together for that long a time is a record to be envied.

I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with these guys since the '70's, both as a steel player and later engineering several records with them...see them if you get a chance...
