I'd like to hear your review on the George L 10-1 pickup. Especially in the Sierra Lap Steel. But, in any guitar is welcome.

The Best Humbucker IMO. Smooth and Thick. Doesn't kill the highs but warms them up. It does color your tone a bit but in a very good way. As a single coil guy, this is the only humbucker that's still in a guitar. Every time I'm thinking of swapping it out, I play out and completely change my mind.

...Also a weird little I found observation... It sounds much better at stage volumes. I frequently have taken the same setup from home to play live and have been amazed with the difference. Not all my guitars do this BTW.

On my 89 S-10 Zum,the first new guitar I ever owned, I have had the original Zum single coil, a GL E-66, and a 10-1. The 10-1 is my favorite. I don't care for the real brite pickups and the 10-1 sounds good to me.
