I'd like to hear your review on the George L 10-1 pickup. Especially in the Sierra Lap Steel. But, in any guitar is welcome. |

The Best Humbucker IMO. Smooth and Thick. Doesn't kill the highs but warms them up. It does color your tone a bit but in a very good way. As a single coil guy, this is the only humbucker that's still in a guitar. Every time I'm thinking of swapping it out, I play out and completely change my mind.
...Also a weird little I found observation... It sounds much better at stage volumes. I frequently have taken the same setup from home to play live and have been amazed with the difference. Not all my guitars do this BTW. |

On my 89 S-10 Zum,the first new guitar I ever owned, I have had the original Zum single coil, a GL E-66, and a 10-1. The 10-1 is my favorite. I don't care for the real brite pickups and the 10-1 sounds good to me. |
