I have a Peavey 1000, I turned on the switch and it made a loud pop. Smoke came out from the back. Can you help me to get it repaired?

Thanks,
Ronnie

Sure,remove the four screws that are located on the top of the cab(two per amp strap)and the chassis can be removed through the rear of the cabinet. Be sure to loosen the AC cable retainer. Send the chassis only unless there is a problem with the reverb pan(otherwise, send the pan with wiring harness). Our address is;
Peavey Service Center
Attn; Repair Department
412 Hwy. 80 East
Meridian, MS 39301

Include a note explaining the problem and your daytime phone number.
