Does the Mullen Royal Precision models have tunable splits? From the pictures I've seen, it doesn't appear so. I'm considering buying one and would like to know. Thanks, Ol' Fred

I had one and the split screws were done special order at the factory. Not a big deal for a competent machinist to do aftermarket... Just threads for screws fo the strings you need the splits on.

The RP typically uses additional pull rods to tune the splits.

I own one and can verify, no tunable splits. Fairly easy to add the rod and do it that way, though.

The RP does not come with splits but it can be added on a new RP from the factory for an extra charge. Like Roger said you can do a split with an extra rod added but it is a little more involved. The biggest difference between the RP and the G2 is in the tone. I sell both models all the time and I sell probably 20 G2s to 1 RP. Not that the RP isn't a good guitar, but the G2 is the Cadillac.
