I really thought I needed a 10 string lap steel, but my wife assures me that I don't.

This is a beautiful guitar, heavy and solid, with great tone and sustain. My plan was to string it with Billy Robinson's C6 variant or an extended Leavitt. The back of the guitar is covered with a thin rubber material, and since this is the only one of these I've ever seen up close, I don't know if it's original. It comes with a well made and well fitted case. $750 plus shipping. More pictures available on request.

Thanks for looking.

Do you know which George L's pickup that is?

Thanks

Steve

Well. this is original, I have the same one in black. Charly built it 10 years ago for me.
There are only a few of them. Pickup is E66.

Steve, I'm not sure about what pickup Charlie Stepp put in these, so I'd have to defer to Mr. Jansen's opinion, who is clearly more knowledgeable than me. I'm certain the guitar is all original; the only part I questioned was the rubber backing material. I wasn't sure if that was added later or not, but I believe that, too, is original.

Thanks for the input, Johan.

\The rubber pad on the bottom is per build spec.

Looks like 9/32 at the nut and 11/32 at the bridge, measuring from string centers.
