I don't think there is any question that in today's Country Music (Current Top 40) that we hear more from the E9 neck than the C6 neck. If you think differently then please speak up on this unscientific poll here. Very Happy Shocked

My question for the Forum is what percentage do you think we hear more E9 than C6? In watching CMT and GAC and listening to Country Radio a good bit these days I will tell you that it is rare to hear the C6 neck being played.

My next question is how many double neck guitars as opposed to single neck guitars (including S12) do you think exist in the world?

I look forward to seeing and studying your comments.

Zane, Recently I have been listening to a lot of the modern country music. I hear a lot of C6th playing on most top 20, not in reality but in the back of my head. Today's producer's are so bad. It seems that all they want is that string bending, queeling feedback lead guitar. That's today's country. The CMA (Country Music Assn.) is now headed by Steve Moore who got his start with ZZ Top and Stevie Ray Vaughn. What else can we expect? I really think that most county producers today don't have a clue as to how great the pedal steel player's are and how much they could add to a recording. Record producers and A&R men.A bunch of snotty nose kids standing in the front row of a rock concert lighting their lighters and trying to see who can have the best tin ear. Sound's like it to me.
