Do you lower yours a half or whole step ? I have the B pedal tunable split. Thanks, Jack _________________ Zum D10 8x5,rev pre-amp, TC M300, Split 12, n-112, IZZY, Hilton vp, Geo L, BJS Hughey, Live Steel

If not for the B pedal tunable split, I would choose to lower 1/2, to G.(minors, b7ths, etc) since
I use it more frequently than the full tone, which is available 2 frets back w/A pedal,(str 5&6) and again 5 frets back, with B engaged & A depressed (str 4&5.)
The full tone is useful going from a b7 to a 9th, without re-picking, and changng strings (9,6,5)
(i.e.open- C7 descending to B9.)
Of course, being an intermediate player, at best, these are only my choice of uses. I'm sure there are many others I'm not aware of.

I have lowered the 6th string a full tone and split with B pedal on my Franklin since 1985. |

I've lowered it to F# since the early 70's and just added the split about a year or so ago. _________________ Carter D10 8p/8k, Dekley S10 3p/4k C6 setup,Regal RD40 Dobro, Recording King Professional Dobro, NV400, NV112,Ibanez Gio guitar, Epiphone SG Special (open D slide guitar) .
