SOLD PENDING PAYMENT.

I love this amp. Sadly, it lacks the headroom I need for steel guitar, and I have more amps than I really need, so up it goes on the chopping block.

The amp runs on two 7591s, a solid-state rectifier and a bunch of octal preamp tubes. The tubes are a mix of Raytheon, RCA and National Union; they're all possibly as old as the amp. All the major components are original, including the CTS alnico speaker, the reverb/tremolo footswitch and the transformers. I replaced the handle but will include the original, which is torn and shouldn't be used, as well as all the electrical components that were replaced during servicing.

The bad news: as you can see in the pics, there are a few nicks and other wear to the tolex. There is a bit of oxidation on the control panel, but the writing is still legible, and I think someone's cat used the grill cloth as a scratching post.

The good news: you've heard the worst of it, and the flaws are purely cosmetic. I had the amp serviced just a couple of months ago, and it's in 100% perfect working order. It idles quietly, the reverb and trem are incredibly lush, the filter caps and a few wayward resistors have been replaced, and it has a grounded cord.

The price is $525 Paypalled and shipped in the continental US. The only (partial) trade I'm looking for is a tremolo pedal - something simple that can do a smooth sine wave; other trades may be considered, but don't get your hopes up.

You're best off sending me a Private Message; I can check PMs at work but not email.
