I am having one of my nights where I can't sleep.
So after logging into the forum, I bumped into your new video.
It's great, it follows the melody perfectly.
Looks like you have a new sofa to your left?
I have always wondered about the picture frames behind you?
Are they photos, or certificates, or a bit of both?
Perhaps I am being nosey?
I get some inquiries too about background stuff in my shed when I do a video so I hope you don't mind me asking.
It kinda looks like the room you spend most time in but perhaps it's your office, like mine, and you like to get away from it too sometimes?
Anyway, it's nearly 3am here and I usually get up at 5.30 so I better get a couple of hours sleep now.
Best wishes, I would love to meet you one day.
Oh, Johhny Cash is on BBC radio at the moment singing walk the line.....
Mmmm? Instrumental ideas coming into my head..... |

Beautiful, soulful playing. But then again, I expected no less when I clicked it on. Your approach always touches me. _________________ LeGrande II, Nash. 112, Fender Twin Tone Master, Session 400, Harlow Dobro, R.Q.Jones Dobro |

Dave!!! (Hartley)
Good to hear from you. It`s good to know at least I can put you to sleep!!!! Naaaw! good buddy I know what you mean. I think you and I have the same problem. I have difficulty sleeping many nights as well. You have my sympathy! I`m glad you looked in on me. You have a good eye, as well as a good ear. That "thing" you called a sofa must be the world`s largest "Lazy Boy" chair. I have never seen such a big chair. The "Thing" can seat two people in it, without even trying. This all happened because I casually mentioned that I thought I would like a "Lazy Boy" chair to lounge in, and the next thing I knew was there was the "aircraft carrier Enterprise", stuck up in my room. It is "Huge"! I cant say anything because "my beloved Wife" bought it, and I do have to "live" here! You know what I mean!!!
All of those Plaques, Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees, both academic, and ecclesiastical, along with several Honorary Degrees, also a gang of certifications, or upgrades, are a result of forty-two years of research, study, and preparation for ministry. (Actually they gather a lot of dust)
Yes, all of this junk is in my office/study/music room/ and hideout. It is the one place where there is solitude, and peace when needed.
And, no you could never be looked upon as being "noisy" my old friend. anyway even though I may be a little late getting back to you, I truly hope you get enough rest, and sleep because our musical world would suffer a great loss of talent if anything negative would happen to you for not getting enough of the same. My prayers are with you, get some rest. Warmest of greetings to your family,
Ron
PS: I too hope to meet with you some day! I`ll put that in my wish book! _________________ Goldensacredstrings

Hi Ya Crowbear!!! (Schmitt)
Gosh I hope so! If were ever that easy, I would be trying to make the music that makes somebody happy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Until then I guess, I`ll just have to keep doing the best that I can.
Thanks for the encouragement, best to the family...
Ron
