Forget where i read this but years ago i also put a compenstor on my 7th string as it would be sharp when A or B pedal pressed. Been so long ago i forget which one. Also the 6th string would be out when pedals pressed. Called Reece and he told me to put a wound on it. I did, problem sloved.

I played that d-10 MSA on and off the road for over 30 years. When i sold it to a friend all he had to do to it was take it to Bud Carter and have him change the ignorant set up i used on the 9th. It still looked and played like new. Says something for MSA's. I no longer play out except fiddle from time to time and still regret selling the MSA.Tracy

You sure got that right Chris and can play anything from blue grass to classical with only one tuning that has four strings. Very Happy Tracy

The reason i sold all my steel was burn out from playin one so many years And i never cared to play country on fiddle from the time i started on one in the 40s so later took up steel and really never cared for playing country on it either. Oh Well
