Why do we not see any new MSA's for sale ? Or very few ! Have they not sold many or are they that good ?
I think I would like one but the new price has made me think better.
The old Vintage XL had a tone that I thought was next to none. I wonder if the new MSA sounds as good? Let us know.

Yes, they are. But MSA is a division of a larger company, Microspace, and the parent company had an important government contract that had to be filled, and had to put building their steel guitars on hold for a while.

Now that the contract has been fulfilled, it is my understanding that they are back to making guitars. It is also my understanding that the Millennium has been discontinued, due to the increased cost of the carbon fiber, and they are only making Legends and Studio Pros.

There are so many outstanding builders that it's not really possible to say any particular maker is the definitive best. But MSA is certainly in the top tier.
