Here is a classic tune by Lefty.

Sorry to say I was never able to see him perform in person. Sad

During the early 50's Lefty carried his own Band with him. Then he started appearing as a Guest Star at differen't venues and used whatever House Band to back him up. A lot of us old timers got to backup Lefty no matter what Town and Club he was booked into. His songs had been so popular that we all pretty much knew them and the backup stlyle he liked.
He was very friendly and appreciative of the backup he got from us. He appeared so many times at some of the Clubs and Dances that I played at that he knew us sidemen on a first name basis.
