Some of the newer players seem to be confused about when to play pedals or not to play pedals on any given tune. This is not a mere conclusion on my part but rather is arrived at from the statements of more than one Forumite here on the SGF.

"Somewhere My Love"....is currently playing on Ray's CD Page on the JERRY Byrd-Fan Club.com site.

It's played on Ray's 1972 Emmons, 8+4, Push-Pull thro' a Peavy Session 400 and also a Peavy LA-400....via a ProFexII. No pedals or other affects were applied.

This is straight steel guitar, sweet and simple in my humble, non-musician opinion.

Would you elaborate, please?
