Jerry's a monster. I agree - sorta' sounds like an old Fender pedal steel. Chops + Taste = Great.

Winking Sounds like Mr. Garcia on actual steel. If you can find a decent video of the Fairports' annual reunion '87ish, Jerry's playing on `Rosie` is superb.

I played a festival here in Finland with Donahue on the bill also.His guitar was lost in transit and his amp broken..
He borrowed my strat , changed the strings from 011`s to 008`s and used my steel rack system.
"Always a pleasure to play through a steel players rig" was the verdict.
