Hi:
Can someone provide with examples of how to play rock and roll rhythms on E9th pedal steel?

A typical example would be the Chuck Berry type riff. The difference from the usual guitar voicing is that the root is on top instead, and the bass note plays the |:5,5,6,6,7,7,6,6:|
Use strings 10, 10+A pedal, then 9 along with string 8. Then move the whole thing up 5 frets and then 7 frets for the whole I7 IV7 V7 progression.
