I am mostly confused by the chord thing he does at the beginning. it is three chords, and then a little lick. I know the lick, but not the chords.

I have a feeling I am going to feel moronic when someone shows me, but I am getting lazy on this one.

It starts around :56 and is repeated higher up at 1:07 until about 1:14

It sounds like maybe it is single notes following a chord on the first one, but the second one is all chords.

Thanks!

Sounds to me like G, Bm, C, G. For the lower register one, it would start on fret 3, strings 4, 5 & 6.

Beats 1 & 2: G (strings 4, 5, 6)
Beat 3: Bm (strings 4, 5, 6 with E lever)
Beat 4: C (strings 5, 6, 8 with A&B pedals)
Beat 1 of next bar: G (strings 5, 6, 8 )

The higher part would be similar, just up on fret 15.

I'll try and tab it out for my own edification. Cool stuff! I like the lick out of the chord pattern. Simple but nice.

you sir, are awesome and also now have firmly etched your place onto my "owes a beer" list.

I will be digging into this tonight. As I assumed, it looks pretty easy. I was wanting to learn this for the licks out of the chords. He strings all of it together so perfectly

Thanks again!
