HI Randy. I picked up a Fox Steel amp 2-12s form Ken on my way back from Florida in Feburary. What a nice person to do business with. I have a Zum with a True Tone pickup a have been playing with to get the sound i want. My question is which channel are you using, what setting have worked for you. I am having trouble getting the midrange where i like it. I got Digitech Hardwire Delay and Reverb pedals Ken recommended, and they do a good job. I think the 12s might be harder to Eq compaired to a 15. Just curious what other players set the Fox amp at.. Thanks Jim |

I find the 212 is a brighter amp and I would think you would be using the normal channel for steel there.
You can also jumper channels and run both, mix to your taste. A short jumper from the #2 to the #1 input of the two channels will do it. Also a stereo output pedal can be placed in both channels, no jumper needed. |

Another option for both of your amps is to use an extension 4 ohm speaker cabinet. Our amps are set up for extension speaker use. They have a multiple tap output transformer. When using the main jack you get a 4 ohm tap to match the internal 4 ohm speaker load. When an aux 4 ohm speaker is added it is wired in series for a total of an 8 ohm load. The special switching jack on the aux speaker jack then switches to the 8 ohm transformer tap.
Adding one speaker gives a 3db SPL increase in volume as well, same as doubling the power of a combo amp that has only 1 speaker. |

I love mine. I bought it used but Ken has been real helpful with my questions nonetheless. Great amp! |
