I'm really happy to announce the first part of a new series of interviews/conversations I'm publishing on my Lap Steelin' blog. This first conversation is with the great Lee Jeffriess. I have some really wonderful guests lined up and i think it's only appropriate to start with my friend and inspiration, Lee Jeffriess.

Hey Mike,
What a great idea. Lee is all about it and is a wonderful player. I'm glad he's back in the Bay Area and his band, The West Coast Ramblers are totally knocked out. That's a fun review and I learned a lot of new things about him.

Thanks, Joe. Hey, we talked for a few hours and your name came up as we talked about Joaquin Murphey and how you gave Lee that Hawaii Forever tape. We agreed we both owe you a debt of gratitude.
