Been listening the Rhino Records' "Buck Owens: The Collection" recently. Though Ralph Mooney and Tom Brumley play on most of the three discs, the excellent liner notes by Rich Kienzle note that one Buddy Emmons played on the "The Kansas City Song." And we know that Buddy recorded "Cajun Steel Guitar" with the Buckaroos.

In particular, "Dust On Mother's Bible" sounds more like Lloyd than Tom Brumley. Did Lloyd ever record with Buck? Perhaps Bent Romnes or Walter Stettner would have the answer...

I recorded with Buck Owens in 1977 for Warner Brothers. Have no idea what the songs were.

Thank you, gentlemen!

That would be the "Our Old Mansion" LP. I'll report back on what I find.
