Need help identifying the drummer and bass player in this photo of Jim Reeves at RCA Studio B. The piano player is Dean Manuel and the guitar player is Leo Jackson. Can anybody identify the drummer and bass player. Thanks in advance for any leads:

Drummer looks like Willie Ackerman to me; here is a pic of Willie in 1958 with Jim Glaser for comparison.

Bass: not Bob Moore, not Lightnin' Chance, not Joe Zinkan. Couldn't find a good pic of Junior Huskey, Henry Strzelecki, Buddy Killen, or Ernie Newton to compare.

Great historical picture! Robert, do you know what song Jim was recording there by any chance?

Willie appears to be playing right handed. The drummer in the first picture is set up left handed.

Depending what year that photo was taken it could be Mel Rogers. Mel was stationed at Ft Carson part of 64 and 65 because I played a gig with him in 65 about January I think.

The Microphone is a Neumann U67 mounted upside down because of heat from the internal tube.

Thanks to all who replied. As correctly identified above - the drummer is Mel Rogers and the bass player is James Kirkland. I was able to confirm your answers on Scotty Moore's website where the photo is captioned.

Bent Romnes - I don't know what song they were recording. I'm almost sure this is a still photograph - not from movie footage. It is frequently used in books and articles relating to Studio B. Mitch Drumm - great photo of Ackerman. Thanks again to everybody. Even a wrong guess can lead to a right answer. This picture will be in the new CMHOF Chet exhibit and now we can write the caption. Here is photo w/ captions from Scotty Moore's website:
