Sonny,
Old pull/release Marlens used a round shaft with one flat side. Knee lever shafts were full round.
All of pull/release had set screws in the pins to push or pull the rods. I think the all pulls had them too.

Thomas uses hex screws on the bell cranks rod conection.
Square cross shafts.. (edit)

| if I'm not mistaken Sho Bud used hex shafts seems i remember them on my LDG 1000 it was a late one made in 1983 of course Sho Bud bit the dust in 1984?... |

Msa uses round cross shaft and set screws in the bell crank.

Kline and the Sho~Bud Super-Pro used hex cross shafts.

| Rittenberry and Mullen use hex shafts. Rittenberry uses the set screw to connect the rod to the bellcrank too. |
