Well we finally got our Picture taking friend to play, Mr Bill Myrick. So did David White, Bob Carden, Jeremiah Hanley and Terry Bethel.
Russ Burns Burns was cookin' on the drums and Buddy Lewis was laying some 4/4 bass down and we all had fun.
I know it was Fathers Day so for the ones who wanted to be there but couldn't, your excused this time.
You did miss a great afternoon of pickin' and singin'

Wish I could have been there. I am on a business trip out in Texas. Fort Worth, Abiline, Austin, then San Antonio. After that back to home. Texas is very hot, and very dry, it was 107 degrees yesterday. Visited the Country Music Musium in Brady, Texas yesterday and found it to be very interesting. Someone was saying Doug Jernigan played on Jake Hooker's new CD. Not true--I have the CD--and it lists Jim Lousburg and Paul Franklin as the steel players. I also got copies of Justin Trevino and Amber Digby's two new CDs. Dicky Overby really played great steel guitar on these new CDs. By the way Terry, Randy Newman came by and picked up Tyler Hall's pedals.
