Yep. He was the missing link between the Beach Boys and the Eagles in my mind. The last time I saw him a couple years ago he was quite heavy and seemed unhealthy so I can believe he had a heart attack. Loved the changes in "Lonely Boy". |

When I saw the news, the first thing that came into my mind is the majestic middle break in Ronstadt's "You're No Good." High on my list of great musical moments.

Sorry to hear about this, he was one of the west coast's greats. I remember working hard to try to get his licks and solo down for "You're No Good" when our female vocalist (Joanne Rinard) wanted to do it. He was a very fine musician and will be missed!.....JH in Va. _________________ Don't matter who's in Austin (or anywhere else) Ralph Mooney is still the king!!! |
