It's been quite some time since I posted our activities here in Florida, and wanted to let forumites know we're "alive and kickin"!
We're three years old last month and still meeting every third Sunday afternoon from 3 PM til about 6 PM, at LAKE SHORE MOOSE LODGE, #2020, LOCATED AT 5051 COLLINS RD. ORANGE PARK, FLA. (WEST SIDE OF jACKSONVILLE)
This Sunday (Father's Day) we have Chet Gibson with His Fulawks Steel, Marshall Rowland and His "Marshall Arts" non pedal, along with THE HAMMONTREE FAMILY" BRINGING US SOME GREAT SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC!Mike Hammontree one of the premier pianoist in the country, has been touring with the BLACKWOOD BROS. QUARTET for the last 1 1/2 years.
If you're passing thru our area this weekend, stop by and visit with us and hear some fine traditional music. There is no admission, just come in and try one of the Moose"s great Hamburgers while you enjoy some fine fellowship. Lonnie Portwood
