Any body have any good leads for me to follow??....just noticed,that it is making a cracking and loose connection noise when it is moved....I'm guessing a new one is in order.

any DPDT or SPDT, 3-position (ON-ON-ON), mini toggle switch will work for this purpose.
No more than two dollars @ Radio Shack or similar stores...
About solder pins:
A SPDT switch has three pins only (Single Pole, Double Throw),
a DPDT switch (Double Pole, Double Throw) has two rows of three pins each. Just use one row.
You can chose either, it just depends on which one you'll find in the store.
You really need just one pole, as only the led (positive) wires of the pickups have to be switched.
Ground wires are always soldered together, to the jack negative lug.
The center pin is the "out" (to the jack positive lug), the side pins are the "in's", one for the lead wires of the pickups.
About switch positions:
If you don't plan to activate both necks together you just need a two positions switch,
otherwise you need a three positions with a "ON" center step.
Solder the wires like they are on the old switch, and should you need a wiring diagram just ask...
