Hi,

Playing at Symphony Hall in Chicago Saturday night with Arlo Guthrie and it's a fly-in gig, so I won't be able to use my regular amp rig. The backline rental folks didn't have any of my first 3 amp choices, so, at their suggestion, I opted for a Peavey Nashville 400 . I've never used this model amp before....always use either a Session 500 or a Nashville 1000. Anybody know what the 400 is like compared to the two amps that I just mentioned? Any major surprises?

Some will have varying opinions, but I much prefer the Nashville 400 over the 1000 and even the Session 500. The EQ section has the same controls as the Nashville 1000, but that's about the only similarity I've found bewteen the two.

Either way, the Nashville 400 is a great amp and I think you will be satisfied with it!
