Book-matched walnut top
Walnut Body
Walnut Neck
25.5" scale length
Maple inlays and binding

I have a few more of these bodies that are not routed, so there are plenty of options...just ask!

Real nice Walnut is a great wood to work with. Never had enough to build a lap steel Sad I did use some for fingerboard once. Yours look like you have some nice walnut to pick from.

Gary, Thanks!

I sure did have a nice crop of walnut to work from...sure stinks though...use the full face respirator when I do any sawing.

I built four lap steels of the same design, with four different species of wood, and I think
the walnut version was the nicest, and rich sounding, of the bunch. And of course walnut is a beautiful wood.

Thanks Bill! I am excited to see how they sound...I'm going to do a batch of chambered walnut bodies next.
