I just bought a brand New SD-10 with 3 and 4 Emmons La Grant III from my good Freind Skip Mertz.I should get it in the next couple of weeks.I will think about selling my SD-10 Fessy but i just might keep it as I like it very much and I don't feel I want to part with it.

Depending on how cheap Skip sold it to Sam, it could possibly be called a "Legrant". : )

I read an interview with Buddy Emmons himself on a website somewhere. There he stated that he had suggested the name as a tribute to french composer Michel Legrand (without the last e), originally as a brand name for the first push-pull guitars. Luckily, they decided that Emmons would be a stronger name. Later when the Emmons company took it up as model name for their all-pull guitar, they obviously got the spelling wrong.

So what made you switch, Sam?
Going after that Emmons sound or did you have mechanical issues?

Thought maybe it would make me Play and sound better.Hey it is just like a car you get tied of the same old thing all the time and you make a change. Buying a new FrreStar Monday.

By the way your sister won two trophies with her beautiful 55 Chevy stepside pickup, what a truck. They are super nice folke. Well have fun with your new toy. Take care Sam.
