Darrell McCall has a song on Youtube called "The Days When You Were Still In Love With Me", and the intro is really cool, but I can't quite get it figured out. Can someone figure this one out and tell me how it's done. I think it is fairly simple, but it has a twist to it that I just can't figure out. Thanks a lot |

Thanks for the link. That is where I heard the Intro and decided I want that for my bag of tricks, but I just can't figure out exactly what strings the player is using. It sounds like he might be doubling or something. I like that sound. Sounds like maybe some chorus also.

I listened to the link Declan posted. Heres my attempt at tabbing it.
The first two notes are a unison slide which indeed sound like a chorus. The G lever raises string 1 a whole tone.

......and of course, the steeler on the recording is Mr. Emmons. There are so many 'Emmons-isms' in it that it could not be anyone else. |
