Curtis Potter and his band "Texas Proud" will be at London Hall, London Tx., Sunday Sept., 19th for a show and dance...3 'till 7:30. This is a show put on by Tracy Pitcox and will also feature several guest artists. Jim Loessberg will be playing steel, Charlie Walton on guitar,Randy Lovell, drums and Bobby Rountree, Bass. Everyone invited.....ya'll come on down. London hall is on Hwy. 377, about halfway between Mason and Junction.

Don, Now that I have found out what it is....Bring your "AXE". Do you remember about 1960, Jack C. Smith that played guitar for Dean Beard, cut his Telecaster out to the shape of an axe ?

Hey Tree, sorry, I've been gone all day. Yeah, I remember that. There was a discussion about how the ax, axe, ask, asked, got started somewhere else on this forum. I also remember about that time I would go up to the bandstand and watch Jimmy Bigger play his Blankenship steel. He would say " hey man did you bring your sheet"? Ha Ha Refering that I was a "spook". Thems was the days. Or was they. I forget
