When I'm looking for a certain track, and click on "Open", I get a window with all the folders or directories (not sure what the difference is??) of various packages of tracks that I've collected from various people, i.e. "4100 songs", "Jam songs", "Johnsongs", etc (maybe I need to put all these tracks into one folder or directory (?) so I don't have to search so many places,,???). I would like to create a folder or directory (?) to put the tracks in that I've edited and got them the way I want them. Then maybe even transfer the whole folder or directory (?) to a thumb or flash drive so that I would have access to "my" tracks from any computer that has BIAB on it. Can anyone help me understand how to do that? I just went through Rick Cambell's tutorial DVD hoping it would help me accomplish this,,,very informative,,but didn't get into this. (maybe I need to start with knowing the difference between a folder and directory,,,LOL). |

If I understand your question this is the answer.
Right click on your desktop
A box will open
Go down to NEW
Another box will open up
Click on Folder.
Then you have a folder where you can drop and drag your songs to that folder.
You can single click on the bottom of the new folder and then name it anything you like.
Hope this helped. |

Can I create a new folder or directory "within" the BIAB itself? |

I can tell you what I do. I have several Folders on my computer desktop that contain only BIAB files. I open up songs from the BIAB program.
1. Open BIAB
2. Push the open button
3. Select the folder on the desktop
4. Select the file you want to play |

I have my BIAB on an external hard drive so I can use it on any computer, so therefore I need the "personalized" tracks on the hard drive also???? |

Hi sonny
You can create a folder for your personalized files on your internal hard drive, or on a rewritable disc such as a CD-RW, or even on a usb stick. Just associate the file with BIAB so that when you click on the file it will open in BIAB. Don't give up, you'll get the hang of it and it will start to make sense.
