This is a custom made 10 string keyless non pedal steel with a piano-like finish...Lamar winds his own pick ups, and if you're familiar or have ever seen/heard Lamar Colvin's pedal steels, you'll know the quality that I'm speaking of....
String spacing is 11/32 at the bridge......
This guitar started out as a lap steel.....I added three telescoping legs and had a custom case made....$850.00 + shipping......
I hosted a non pedal workshop about 6 or 7 years ago, taught by Reece Anderson......here's Jim Cohen on the Lamar with Reece.....(I was a hat manufacturer)
Here's Jimbeaux......

Hmmm... I thought that guitar looked familiar!
Lamar custom-made this axe for me years ago when I was traveling a lot for my day job and needed something that would fit easily into my suitcase so I could woodshed in hotel rooms after hours. It's a really nicely made guitar and sounds excellent. It didn't used to have legs or a case so those are nice upgrades that Howard added. Someone is gonna get a sweet steel guitar here.
Thanks for that photo too, Howard: Hat's Entertainment! _________________ www.JimCohen.com

How much for the fifth hat from the right?
Speaking of Reece, I'm going to his Fast Track Camp before the TSGA....should be great fun.
Nice looking steel! _________________ www.deluxe34.com lap steel stands, Clinesmith, Gibson Console Grande, Northwesterns, The Best Westerns
