Hi,
My last post for awhile, I promise. I am putting up for sale my 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb. Before you get too excited, let me point out some repairs/replacements so there is no misunderstanding. Both transformers were replaced with correct replacements made by New Sensor, and the two back panels were made by Dixie Sound Works. All this was done back in the 90s. Also new power cord (3 prong), some replaced caps and resistors, and the baffle was either replaced or cut to accomodate a 12" speaker and there is a Fender reissue 12" in there now. It would be easy enough to purchase a repro grille with a 10" hole and then a speaker that size but I never bothered because I liked the way it sounded with the 12". Replaced speaker lead and reverb pan cables (I don't know if the pan itself was replaced). No footswitch, sorry. The chassis straps are pretty shiny and I think those are replaced also with the correct ones. Some scuffs in the tolex, one or two bottom corners missing a little bit of covering from wear, but overall it looks pretty nice. I am putting up a few pics and I have lots more. This is at the moment arguably the most desirable Blackface Fender amp but with the changes noted it's a player piece, not a collectible and I am pricing accordingly (I think; I imagine I'll hear from people if it's too high), $1195 including shipping in the CONUS. Clean originals are going for around $2K these days in prime condition but mine is certainly not one of those. I think I have a cover for it, not the original but it is pretty nice and I'll include it. Email me at jkally3@cox.net for any questions/offers/insults, etc. Thanks.

Hi,
Thanks. I agree. With this setup it becomes more like a Deluxe reverb in a smaller package although there are circuit differences.

John, I doubt it, but that might be my old amp. It's a long shot!

But check to see if the bottom of the cabinet has been notched out so as to fit the JBL D-120 speaker ( I'm talking almost through to the bottom of the cabinet ).

I did this to two of my PR's and they both sounded awesome with my Emmons D-10's.

Hi Billy,
Sorry, I checked and it's not your old one. Too bad. But it could be your next one!
