Steel Player in Fools Gold??

On numerous occasions when I tell someone (my age or older) that I play pedal steel, they tell me about a Dan Fogelberg concert that they saw here in Cleveland in 1975. Dan's backing band was Fool's Gold. They proceed to tell me how the steel player "screamed" and really made the show. I've tried to research who it was. I know the band was based out of California. Haven't been able to pinpoint the steel player though. I'm sure somebody here on the forum knows...

Hi Mark,

There was a thread here on the Forum not too long ago regarding your very topic. I was curious too, as, coincidentally, not too long ago, the produce manager at the grocery where I sometimes shop is a big steel fan and was waxing nostalgic about the Fogelberg band and had asked me if I could identify the guy playing such great stuff.
