I play and sing this song a lot - it's one of my favorite examples of the "old Hank" sound. Thanks for posting your version. Sounds good! _________________ -𝕓𝕆𝕓- (admin) - Robert P. Lee - Recordings - Breathe - D6th - Video |

It's great that you can sing and pick. It adds so much to the band when the steel player sings. I can't sing a lick but have tried!

Thanx alot I really enjoyed that. I have the top six strings (E6) of that tuning programmed into my line six variax and play it with a slide on my pinky then switch to guitar mode when I sing. Not quite Junior Brown yet but it really adds to the old Hank tunes and puzzles the audience. I can realy hear what I am missing by not having the two lower strings. |
