Here is a song I ran across recently on utube that I had not heard in several years - Moon has the steel
on fire on this one > give it a listen..
ENJOY .. Ron

You are sure welcome Clyde..
It sure sounds like a Fender & Moon had it on fire
for sure!!
What a stylist!!.
I could listen to Moon for a long time & never tire hearing him play..

Man, that's some great stuff. I love it !
It wouldn't surprise me if that was his home made steel, the one that pre-dates the Fender, which he used on the early Buck Owens recordings.
Whatever it is, it's great. _________________ Steeless. |

That song was cut in 1965. I was playing lead guitar for Jack Tucker at the time. Moon was playing his Fender 1000 on this one. His tone was stellar at the time. |

Hi Ken > Thanks for your comments..
Hi Jim Bob > Thank You for that information.
Nothing like getting it from someone who was there
at the time it happened. The singer had me fooled too.
Moon was sure on top of this one - WOW!!!
Thanks Again for both of your comments!
