Willie's Place and The Roadhouse are merging next Wednesday. To me that is a STUPID idea!!! Willie's Place doesn't always play true Country such as Delbert Mclinton,... and you could always count on The Roadhouse playing true country and I could switch to it when Willie's played junk music! Now I won't be able to do that. If something is working so well, why do they change it???

Sad news, What will they do with the extra channel? More "country" pop crap?

I suggest you let them know how you feel about it. I got the memo from Sirius ( same changes ) concerning channel changes. Of course it was all cleverly disguised as an exciting new programming lineup. It's really like bait and switch. Bell Expressvu satellite t.v. does the same thing. They sell you a package of channels and then start removing the very channels you signed up for. I let Sirius know, and not very politely, that if they start cutting channels and screwing with the content they sold me, I'll let my subscription go.
It's all about the ratings of any given channel. But like satellite television, XM and Sirius radio were designed to cater to 'specialty' audiences. They must surely anticipate that some channels will have a smaller audience than others. That's what makes them ' special'.
Voice your opinion to them and make them toe the line.

Bill how do I contact XM? I would like to register my complaint as well. I haven't heard any good Texas Music since the change. If that's the way it's going to be I will drop both my Truck and Car radio. It sucks now as far as IJ'm concerned. JDean

J. Dean, I have Sirius and I just replied to their notification email. Follow Frank's link to find out how to contact XM.
If anyone gets a response from the people who actually made the programming changes I'll bet money that they'll blame it on low numbers of listeners. They market special interest programming and then seem surprised when some of the channels are only marginally popular. It doesn't seem too bright to me.
